The logo says it all! I love it! Thank your for not censoring either. Now that Macy's is putting on this new survey in all the stores across the US, I urge all proud Fields Fans, and Foleys Fans and Hechts Fans and Filenes.... to go to Macys' local stores and fill out the surveys. They use computerized touch-screens and only take a few minutes to complete. Some of the questions are somewhat misleading but a careful eye can spot the major issues. Key is the one that asks if you shop more, or less, at the stores since the change to Macy's. And they give people a free one pound box of Frangos for participating. The survey will be continued on until Memorial Day. Everyone should participate and let our voices be heard!

not wild about the potential implication from the image, coupled with your slogans, of a potentially homophobic intent... but as a proud gay chicagoan, I'm willing to overlook it -- Macy's really is an abomination. And what a stupid idea to introduce it to chicago markets with the sacrifice of an historic premium brand identity! Especially when overhead costs are so high.
Keep up the good work! and as long as you've gone the graphic route, maybe an image of the macy's head pissing on a local landmark? 'cause that's the impression I've been left with of how they've acted.

"Marshell Fields" is an elegant name to a Chicago landmark. "Macys" is a cheap sounding name to a corporation that holds no respect or value in Chicagoland.
It's like renaming Ohare "Lacy Panties". Thats how I think of it.
